Adult child

The day when your mom will be an adult came. She celebrated firstly with her family. Your father was after it with a special surprise. He took her to an amusement park. He gave her a bouquet of flowers. They rode many attractions. He took her to a restaurant to celebrate properly with her. She was really happy. That day was great for her. They drank together for the first time.

The next day she didn’t feel any difference as an adult. Her friends told her that is great, but she didn’t feel it. Yeah, now she could buy adult stuff, but that was it. Nothing more. Then she remembered college. She will be packing next week and travelling there. She couldn’t believe that this point in her life had come.

She called your father, her boyfriend, and asked him if he had decided to go to the military or college. She was surprised to hear that he would tell her next week. She was anxious.

She put her clothes into her luggage and took everything necessary. From now on, she will be living in a dormitory. She was nervous about all of it. Also, his decision was here. He came to see her off.

“I will serve my military service now,” he announced.

Your mother cried. She won’t see him for a while, maybe only during his vacation and free days. They hugged each other. She cried. Her parents were sad too. They all took her to her dormitory and helped her to settle down. It would be hard for her to live on her own. At least she will study and be busy enjoying her college life. It won’t be so lonely.

Your father left later than her parents. They talked together, and she gave him their photo as a memory for him. She promised to write to him often. Even just about her day in college. He left in the evening. The next day they were starting their separate future. She looked at her organized stuff, prepared clothes for the first day of college and went to sleep. She dreamed about her boyfriend that night.
