It was hard to focus on school and other things. You were sometimes stressed because of them. It was beating you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong>~IN YOUR DREAM~<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I was in some white building sitting in a chair. There were these boys again. They were staring ahead. A teacher came and handed me some red pills. They took it. I was confused. Math came. We were supposed to be quiet and listen without complaints and questions. It was raising us to be perfect. Suddenly a song started to play, but they appeared not to hear it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>A good house,<\/em><br><em>A good car,<\/em><br><em>Will these things bring happiness?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I listened to it, not focusing on the lesson.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Will parents really be happy?&nbsp;<\/em>I thought, too, when these words came.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Dreams disappeared,<br>There was no time to rest<br>It&#8217;s a cycle of school,<br>Home or an Internet cafe<br>Everyone lives the same life<br>Students who are pressured to be number<br>One live in between dreams and reality<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That&#8217;s the society for you. We are competing against each other. They are trying to make us only listen and obey. We are like machines. We don&#8217;t live our lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Who is the one who made us into studying machines?<br>They classify us to either<br>Being number one or dropping out<br>They trap us in borders, the adults<br>There&#8217;s no choice but to consent<br>Even if we think simply,<br>It&#8217;s the survival of the fittest<br>Who do you think is the one who makes us step<br>On even our close friends to climb up?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The school &#8211; and it doesn&#8217;t matter in which year you are or if you are in primary school or university. There&#8217;s no way out. You can&#8217;t really live your life because you must study and do your best. You should be at the top of your class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Adults tell me that hardships<br>Are only momentary<br>To endure a little more, to do it later<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yeah, that&#8217;s what my parents told me too. You can fill your dreams later when you finish school. Although after school comes work. There&#8217;s no time for anything. Today&#8217;s society is moving fast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Everybody say NO!<br>It can&#8217;t be any later<br>Don&#8217;t be trapped in someone else&#8217;s dream<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Everybody say NO!<br>It has to be now or never<br>We still haven&#8217;t done anything<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I stood up. The boys looked at me, and one slammed his hand on the desk. We went against the teacher&nbsp;and the watchers. We didn&#8217;t want to listen to them. We threw chairs around the classroom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>I want to play and eat,<br>I want to tear my uniform<br>Make money, good money,<br>But they already view me crookedly<br>My obscure bank account,<br>My unhappiness is past its limit<br>A factory of sighs while studying,<br>A continuous cycle<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We want to learn what we want. We fought for that with them. We wanted to have our own life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>The grown-ups confess<br>That we have it so easy<br>They say that we are happier than our portion<br>Then how do you explain my unhappiness?<br>There&#8217;s no conversation topics beside studying<br>Outside, there are so many kids like me,<br>Living the life of a puppet<br>Who will take responsibility?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Do we have it easy? Really? Do they see how we are studying? We are like puppets doing only what teachers say. What others say. We can&#8217;t stand up to society. Have they seen those all-nighters we pulled off? Do they know how many times we stayed up?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Suddenly, I stood in a room with these boys. They had different clothing to show their professions. We couldn&#8217;t escape this fate, and I almost lost my faith in changing our destiny. I clenched my fists, refusing to give up.
